First-Inning Spurt Lead The Kids Past Henry County Hurricanes 15U

The Kids defeated Henry County Hurricanes 15U 8-0 on Friday thanks in part to five runs in the first inning. Kaden Hall singled, scoring one run, Graham Vinson singled, scoring two runs, Nick Tinkle singled, scoring one run, and Johnny Wilt was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.
The Kids added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Zack Logston walked, and Ty Lieberman hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.
The Kids added one run in the third after Gaige Howard grounded out.
Jaxon Hale earned the win for The Kids. The starter allowed zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out one and walking none. Roman Ashcraft took the loss for Henry County Hurricanes 15U. The hurler went one inning, surrendering two runs on two hits, striking out none and walking two. Chandler Hicks led things off on the bump for Henry County Hurricanes 15U. The right-handed pitcher surrendered three hits and five runs (three earned) over one inning, striking out none and walking two. Jack Rector tossed two innings of shutout ball for The Kids in relief. The reliever surrendered two hits, striking out one and walking none.
Vinson provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led The Kids with two runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Hall led The Kids with two hits in three at bats. Hall stole two bases. The Kids stole seven bases in the game.

Both teams were strong on the mound on Saturday, but The Kids defeated Grand Lake Mariners 15U 3-2. Kaden Hall started the game for The Kids and recorded nine outs.
The Kids got on the board in the top of the first inning after Hall singled to left field, Zack Logston grounded out, and Grand Lake Mariners 15U committed an error, each scoring one run.
Hall earned the win for The Kids. The pitcher surrendered one hit and two runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out two and walking two. Gavin Comer took the loss for Grand Lake Mariners 15U. The righty went four innings, surrendering three runs (two earned) on six hits, striking out two and walking three. Logston and Nick Tinkle each threw shutout innings for The Kids in relief.
Jaxon Hale and Fletcher Callahan were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for The Kids. Hall and Logston each drove in one run for The Kids. Ty Lieberman stole two bases.
Jackson Green, Caleb Rohrbach, and Alex Meyer each collected one hit for Grand Lake Mariners 15U. Grand Lake Mariners 15U turned one double play in the game.

The Kids Claim Victory Over USA Prime Indiana 15U Central

The Kids took down USA Prime Indiana 15U Central 4-0 on Sunday.
The Kids opened the scoring in the bottom of the fourth thanks to two singles. The Kids first got on the board when Jack Rector singled, scoring one run.
Gaige Howard earned the win for The Kids. The pitcher surrendered one hit and zero runs over six innings, striking out eight and walking three. Brady Timmons took the loss for USA Prime Indiana 15U Central. The pitcher went four and one-third innings, surrendering four runs on seven hits, striking out one and walking two. Jaxon Hale collected the save.
Rector and Graham Vinson each collected two hits for The Kids. Rector, Johnny Wilt, Vinson, and Fletcher Callahan each drove in one run for The Kids. Callahan stole four bases. The Kids were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Vinson made the most plays with 11.
Finn Cress went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead USA Prime Indiana 15U Central in hits.
The Kids will travel to Indiana Crimson 15U for their next game on Friday.

Brayson Flory took the loss for Fort Wayne Strikers 15U. The starting pitcher went one and two-thirds innings, surrendering five runs (one earned) on four hits, striking out none and walking two.
The Kids tallied 10 hits in the game. Callahan led The Kids with two runs batted in. The catcher went 2-for-3 on the day. Wilt went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead The Kids in hits. Hale collected two hits for The Kids in four at bats. Jack Rector and Callahan each stole multiple bases for The Kids. The Kids stole eight bases in the game.
Landan Holley, Flory, Jayce Brooks, Colton Schroeder, and RJ Getts each collected one hit for Fort Wayne Strikers 15U. Getts went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in.

Big Fifth Inning Leads The Kids Past Locos Expresss 15U

The Kids scored six runs in the fifth inning, which helped them defeat Locos Expresss 15U 10-2 on Sunday. Zack Logston singled, scoring one run, Ty Lieberman drew a walk, scoring one run, Marshall Capps induced Jack Rector to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Capps induced Gaige Howard to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, and Johnny Wilt singled, scoring two runs.
The Kids opened the scoring in the second after Wilt singled, scoring one run.
Wes Woods singled to right field, which helped Locos Expresss 15U tie the game at one in the top of the third.
A single by Graham Vinson gave The Kids the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the third.
Caleb Schwinnen grounded into a double play, which helped Locos Expresss 15U tie the game at two in the top of the fourth.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, The Kids went back into the lead after Howard grounded into a fielder's choice, and Jaxon Hale singled to left field, each scoring one run.
Vinson earned the win for The Kids. The righty allowed one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out one and walking none. Kaden Hall led things off on the hill for The Kids. The right-handed pitcher surrendered four hits and two runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out three and walking three. Woods stepped on the mound first for Locos Expresss 15U. The hurler gave up six hits and four runs (two earned) over four innings, striking out two and walking one.
Wilt went 2-for-2 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Hall stole two bases. The Kids turned two double plays in the game.
Gaige Newbauer led Locos Expresss 15U with two hits in two at bats from the leadoff position. Woods went 1-for-1 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in.
